November 2, 2005NINE INCH NAILS mainman Trent Reznor spoke to Hazleton, PA's 979X FM WBSX about his recent trip to New Orleans for the Voodoo Music Experience festival. Download and listen to an MP3 of the interview at this location.
As previously reported, NINE INCH NAILS' groundbreaking 1989 debut album, "Pretty Hate Machine", which has been out of print for more than three years, will be reissued on November 22 through Rykodisc. The re-release will feature the same 10 tracks as the original, and the artwork remains unchanged, according to MTV.com. Rykodisc is licensing the rights to the record from Prudential Securities, which had put "Pretty Hate Machine", along with several other TVT Records titles, on the auction block in mid-August; the label presented a bulk of its industrial catalog to Prudential in 1999 as collateral against a $32 million loan. When it failed to attract a credible bid for the material, Prudential opted to hold onto the records' rights and license them out.
